Why do we need a secure area?
FORUMS
Spammers and hackers search the web for any sites using forum software.
They then have computer generated programs (Bots) create hundreds of fake users on those sites. They can then use those fake users to spam the site with solicitations, sketchy websites, etc. We encountered this problem with our previous forum setup. To prevent this from happening, we have installed a number of security measures.
CAMERAS
Our Cameras are great to see the marina conditions, water level and weather, however, for security reasons, we want to be cautious about who has access to the cameras.
To continue on to the Members only area, you must log in to the secure area.
This one is easy and it's mostly meant to prevent spammers from Nigeria from logging in.
The Username is LYC
The Password is the gate code.
